Coonoor
Coonoor is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiris, surrounded by tea plantations, at an altitude of 1839 metres. Its climate is milder than Ooty. It is a very popular weekend get away for the people in Coimbatore. Coonoor is essentially a small tea garden town where the weather remains pleasantly cool throughout the year.

A plantation that is all about tea. They offer guided tours that will give you insight to how tea is produced from the time it is placed in the ground until it reaches your cup. If tea is your passion you will not want to miss this insightful journey into the life of tea.
Dolphin’s Nose
You will enjoy driving through the tea estates on your journey to Dolphin’s Nose. Through the magic of natural erosion this particular piece of earth is shaped just like a dolphin’s nose. You will enjoy taking pictures of the nose as well as the beautiful scenery surrounding it.
